My home is my Castle!
That is, what it schould be, indeed!
However, in many cases, it´s only a castle for rent.
Renting a home is definitely the best way, if you are still young and undecided, when life change´s fastly and you should be able to keep up with it.
That kind of habitation has it´s advantages, for sure. First of all, there´s no need to come up with a huge amount of money before moving in, or even to take out a loan which will bind you for the next twentysome years.
Then, you can move out on very short terms, just when it fits to your current phase of life.
But, if you already plan to get settled somewhere and at best have a bit of money saved, then why not get your own property?
Take your time and choose exactly what you want! design your home according to your taste and not your landlord´s! And don´t forget the secureness your own place can offer you.
And still, if you feel someday, that your own home isn´t your castle anymore, then simply sell it or become a landlord yourself.
You see, you can easily spend the next twenty years on paying your landlord´s appartment, or you start NOW with paying for your own one!

Finding a place to live - sometimes a tough task!
Sometimes the decision where to live is quite easy to answer, but then finding something to live there is much harder!
For sure, there are certain areas in the world that are much more lovely than others and everyone elses grass doesn´t only seem to be greener - it´s also hard to settle on it ;)...
So what choice do we have? Surely, we can search newspapers, the internet etc, but this can be very frustrating as the numbers of offers in the fashionabely `hip` areas mostly coverges to zero or the accomodations offered are simply not affordable.
Aditionally, one doesn´t really want to spend ages on viewing the ´wrong`appartments!
To be true, sometimes realtors can help us saving both: time and nerves. I know, it seems to be strange paying for something that could be done by oneself, too, but sometimes, there´s simply now way out! These people know the `good`adresses that you will never ever find in any newspaper advertisment. They can search the market for offers that are exactly meeting one´s expectations while one may go on spending time on the golf course, in the shopping centre, or simply have some time for recreation.
For sure, it is a service that must be paid for, but to speak frankly: there are so many services one pays for on every single day, without hardly thinking about it, so why not use some help for the hard task of finding a new home?!
One´s home is one´s castle and therefore it should fit as perfectly as possible!

How about moving to the countryside?
Anybody who lives in the big metropolises knows the certain feeling, that once in a while the much beloved noisy and crowded city centre becomes a bit too noisy and a bit too crowded.
All your teenager days you dreamt about the "Big Apple" - THE place to be: hip, fashionable, posh and now, all that is achieved, but sometimes when you think back of the old childhood days in your cosy, peaceful community, you would love to recall those days.
But what to do about that?!
For sure, you can break up with all those nice big city facilities like theatres, restaurants, shops and move back to the unspoilt, quiet countryside, however, this would mean to sacrafice all the things you love in "your" city, too.
So why not better combine all your needs - a house somewhere out in the nature, but still linked closely to "your" city.
Take for example Scarsdale, NY: it´s perfectly located in the woods, but only twentysomething miles away from Manhattan!!!
So why not raise your children in the green fields, but enjoying all advantages of the big-city-life, too?!
You see: How about moving to the countryside is not a question of abdication but may be a winning game for all.
And now it´s up to you: What do you think? How about movin´ to the green fields?
